2. Why is having a website beneficial for health entities?
The World Wide Web is where most consumers and would-be patients go for information. Studies have shown that many people research their medical condition and treatment programs on the world wide web before deciding on care. Patients are previewing health entities before they go, finding driving directions and paperwork instructions, even selecting the doctors they feel are knowledgeable and updated enough for their specialized needs. This used to be a judgment based on recommendations by friends or family. Today, this decision is being made online. By effectively marketing your web site, WingSwept Medical Solutions ensures increased practice visibility, sending new patients your way.
3. How does an online presence improve our services, patient satisfaction, and efficiency?
A well established web presence is an invaluable tool. By being well positioned online, it enables new patients, interested colleagues and funding sources to find information about you quickly and easily, and presented in a way that is as professional and effective as your own practice. For current patients and staff members, a website makes much of the day-to-day routines quicker and easier. It enables secure exchanges of information such as appointments, prescription requests and non-urgent consultations. It provides easy access to information that patients are constantly calling you about, such as driving directions, office hours, and pre-operation procedures, which leaves staff with more free time for everything else. Having everything that's important available to them in advance, all your patients will be calmer, more satisfied, and thus, maybe even healthier.
4. We already have a website. Why would it need a "makeover"?
Maybe your site was built a few years back and doesn't look as modern as it should. Maybe your content needs to be updated. Maybe you are paying too much for hosting. Most important, maybe your site needs to optimize for search engines. We can re-tool your site to better fit today's internet market with a design makeover, content overhaul and search engine optimization, all of which will increase your site's visibility. If you are unsure whether your site needs a makeover, contact us and we will analyze your site and provide a listing of useful recommendations for your site.
5. How does WingSwept Medical Solutions design my site?
First, we determine the exact goals of the client's website. If you want to give general information about your practice or clinic, one of our pre-designed packages may be suffice. If you want to give more detailed information about services and procedures, we would gather that information and add the necessary pages to the package. The end goal being a website that allows the visitor to easily find the information they are looking for and send any requests they may have to the appropriate staff member.
Secondly, our clients have a choice of web templates to start the design process which is included in the solution. Our design team takes the template chosen by the client and starts the customization work adding the doctor or practice name and any client logos.
The third step is to map the flow of the site from the patient's point of view in order to ensure that users can easily navigate throughout the site from beginning to end. Our templates are designed to have a simplified flow; therefore, this step is to make sure that any added pages fit well into the logical flow.
In the last step, we incorporate the content gathered from the client into the site pages. The server that will host the site is set up and the domain is registered. We also make sure all the functionality of the site is performing properly. If any additions or adaptations are necessary, they are made at this point. The site is then re-tested and re-submitted for the client's final approval. Finally, when we are sure the test site is in perfect order and the client is satisfied, the website is submitted to search engines and/or directories. Your website is ready for the world!
6. How do you handle updates (maintenance) to the site?
We provide reliable website maintenance: We can update your site easily and quickly -- our clients simply email their revisions to us and in many cases we can provide same day updates. A tool is built into each website that allows you or your staff to maintain your own site content. However, if you find it worth your time to simply have us take care of your updates, that is a definitely an option WingSwept Medical Solutions provides! See our Services page for more information.
7. Can WingSwept Medical Solutions help us with Search Engine Optimization? What is SEO?
Absolutely. We utilize the latest SEO techniques. Search Engine Optimization is the process of making web pages visible and relevant to search engines. You see, just because you exist, it doesn't mean others will know you're there. You need to let them know somehow. Web pages work the same way: search engines have a hard time recognizing what your web page is about unless the content, titles, meta-tags and alt tags are carefully defined and choreographed to clearly categorize it in the appropriate subject. Once these meta-tags are defined, you need to let search engines know you exist by submitting your url to each individual search engine.
8. How much does a website cost?
Website development, design and start-up costs: This refers to paying a website design firm to create the site. Also, costs include buying a domain name and a small fee for your host server configuration. Your website's final costs vary and are proportional to site size and capabilities. See our Solutions page for more information.
Site Maintenance: Very affordable monthly fee which includes hosting charges and a predetermined amount of a designer's or developer's time to make changes or upgrades to the site.

9. How long will it take?
